  • Double 10" Lathe Cut Record
    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

These are lathe cut Vinyl (not plastic) records made in Melbourne, Australia.
They are cut individually which allows us to make smaller amounts. The per unit price is much higher however. We cannot control this.

We do not make a profit from the sales of these records but we like the records to have some kind of existence in the physical realm. They are limited to 20 copies
They feature a total of 14 screen prints per copy spread out over 2 double sided, kraft stock inserts, 2 inner sleeves and one wraparound cover to keep the whole thing together.
+ a Nobody Asked For This letterpressed coaster! (thanks D.E Duvall Co.)

To order one of these minus bandcamp fees please paypal directly to weemptyroomsATgmailDOTcom.
$54 per double 10" record + $15 flat rate postage within Australia (regardless how many you order) or you are welcome to pick the record up from a DEAD show and not pay for postage.
If you want to add ANY LPs from the WER catalogue to your order you can do so for $14 each.

Includes unlimited streaming of Thundaaaaah! Remixed via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

about

Vol. 1 in the "Nobody Asked For This" series in which we present recordings with an even more limited appeal than usual.

When we were making our first album we floated the idea of doing multiple mixes/versions of most of the songs we recorded. And then release twin versions of the LP. You now kinda like how Godflesh did?

We soon learned our recording budget did not allow for anything as time consuming as this.

Then we thought maybe we could give the multi track files of these songs to bands/artists who we really respect to re-mix/re-work how they see fit. Which turned out to be a better idea. We're lucky enough to know a lot of highly talented and diverse artists who were kind enough to indulge us with their involvement in this project.

We gave them the multi track files for the album and left them alone to do what they do best.

It was a lot of fun and we can't thank them enough for giving up their time for us.
